see there is this guy that had no place to stay i kinda knew him so he asked to stay at my house on my couch i let him.now i heard from my other friends that he is telling his friends that i molested him what do i do? he went missing with a friend of his from school yesterday and he is not in school but his friend is. He is 18. The cops came to my door and yelled at me for letting him stay cuz eventhough his grandma knew he was staying at my house she told cops she never. He is a wacked out kid that says i am molesting him the cops told me if i see them to tell them to go home? Why am i dragged into **** like this, what should i do to bring my self out.

You did something you thought would help, unfortunately you got screwed over in return.
Not much you can do, if he continues to say that you've done this then you'll have to find some way to prove that you didn't.
Either way if he lays charges you're branded a sex offender. See a lawyer first, maybe talk to his grandmother, find out if he has any..............um...............other issues going on about why he would lie (I'm assuming your innocence). The fact that he is 18 does play in your favour, he is an adult and as such has the right to make his own decisions whether or not others think they are the right ones.
It's a hard one, I don;t want to tell you never help another, because then where would you be, but you have to think a little harder now about whom you decide to help.
Best thing to do if this situation comes up again is have the names and phone numbers of a few shelters on hand.
a plus is that when the cops came they didn't arrest you they just told you to tell him to go home.
Better off not to have anything more to do with this kid either.

GET A LAWYER! ! ! ! If you have been accussed of molesting anyone you need Legal Advice or at least the name & number of a good lawyer in case you get dragged down to the station.
Sorry to bum you out but its either that or a whole lot of Prayer (You might want to do that anyway).

no good deed goes unpunished. well, hes gone & make sure he stays gone. hes trouble. if he shows up tell him about the trouble hes caused you & wipe your hands of him. be ready, therell be more trouble when he gets mad at you. ive been on my own since 16, hes a big boy, its his turn.
