denied away?
My son ask me to help him with his math. I'm totatly lost after page 2. I have no idea how to tell him to ask his sister. She is year younger,. She is doing good in the 3rd grade. I feel this would hurt his feelings.
Do I really really need Jesus, or is this really just a Graymatter problem? I even denied his mathbook, with no help at all.
Can prayer really help? This is my last resort, I have used up all other methods. God wouldn't look at this being a little fishy, would he?

I don't think being an atheist would effect your math skills. However you may consider turning to God if you feel that something is missing in your life, or that you need something to help give you strenght. Just believing in a higher power can have good effects on you and may put your mind at ease while pulling all items of your life together through a connecting bond. It is definitally worth looking into.

look. I really don't think you are being "punished ooo!" for not believing in Jesus.
What i think you should do is take some night classes at a local collage.
if u are going to become a Catholic, do so out of your own will. not because u think doing so will make u smarter.
pray to God and He will give u strength, but you need to take the initiative and get going to help yourself learn.

You aren't dumb. Math is hard for me too. I wouldn't have his sister help him, that probably would hurt his feelings. Jesus is a great answer to all of lifes problems. He loves you, he died a horrible death to be the perfect sacrifice for your sins, and mine. The Bible isn't fiction, it's a historical document. I'd suggest finding a good Bible preaching fundemental church, like Baptist or Grace Brethren, If you don't like it, don't give up keep searching for the right church. It would be great for the kids too, if you could find one with an Awana program. God Bless!

God guides us to him in mysterious ways. if something as small as a math problem has u thinking that maybe you need God in your life, then you do. It's his way of talking to you, and telling you to come to him. If you truly believe and accept him into your life, he will help you, no matter what you've done or have been through.

So lying, so busted.
EDIT: Atheists lack a belief in deities. The claim of Atheists believing in deities, but hating them is pure rhetoric rationalisation by those who cannot understand why people don't believe in the Christian deity..
EDIT: It's quite obvious you're doing this just to rant about Atheists... fair enough. I'll let you be as childish as you want.

God helps those that helps themselves and obviously there are a great many things you can do to make sure he gets the help he needs. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean you can't find someone who can. Tutors, his teacher, summer camps, etc...

Yes, Jesus can help. Although, it's not going to be instantaneously. You will have to try, but God definitely helps you with education. I know he's helped me.
