Well from working in a Mcdonalds, they are two separate things now what could be the problems is if your McD's is cooking them in the same fryer, the fish should always be separate otherwise you would get that taste. Better have the manager check.

ewwwwww that is disgusting. If they taste alike then maybe the employees at that particular restaurant are not using proper handwashing techniques or are not cleaining the way that they should. I would talk to a Manager or Store Owner and notify them ASAP.
