Our Creator has been more than patient with us. He has given His only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. His son endured all the pain, temptations, hardships, trials, etc., that we do now and proved that we can overcome if we want to. Conform or die? We all have trouble conforming, and the end result will be the same for all of us that don't conform before the death of our physical bodies, and that will be the eternal damnation of our spiritual bodies with all the excruciating pain of the physical body.

Conform: to behave or think in a socially acceptable or expected way
2. to comply with a fixed standard, regulation, or requirement
3. to be the same as or very similar to something or somebody, or make something similar

I’m not sure what religion you are attempting to bash, but the Christian religion requires no conformity, in fact it is anti-conformity. We are told NOT to conform to this world. And we are continually being charged with being fools, unwise, ignorant etc., the exact opposite behaviors and traits that most people desire and seek. As to the statement ‘don’t conform and die’, it is not in the purview of any religion to issue death warrants, (except apparently Muslims) In case you hadn’t noticed, death is already guaranteed to all, believers and unbelievers, conformists and nonconformists. That single legal death warrant for all mankind, unfortunately has already been issued in Adam generations ago and has been faithfully executed with grim diligence ever since. Death not only of the body, but of the spirit as well. So the answer to your question is Yes, I conform to death, but thanks be to God I have a new hope that gives me LIFE and will conform me to the image of His Son, not by my own practice of a socially accepted way, good works, conformity to a arbitrary standard, but simply by the receiving of life from the One who is life. You can as well.

I don't think that the Lord wants us to conform to anything so much as he wants us to become the best selves that we can. The strait and narrow path is different for every traveler, and as long as we make the most of the time we have and help others along the way.

I don't believe it either.
If you would go to Heaven simply conform to Romans 10;9,
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead thou shalt be saved.
But when it is your time to leave this life, please understand
that your mind and spirit will not die, only your body.
Hence you will have to spend eternity some place other than in the presence of God. Of course we know that place as hell
and the lake of fire. To make matters worst, these nasty
places provide no nutrition, no rest, no peace and no hope.
Actually, accepting Jesus is quite invigorating as well as a lot
of fun, really. My life didn't start getting good 'till after Jesus
became my focus.

Sorry I would have to die. I enjoy thinking for myself without fear of any punishment. I would freely die before I would conform.

I don't believe or conform to anything without scientific proof. Otherwise, we are no more civilized than hunting and gathering tribes that worship rain gods and stuff.

Conformity is for suckers. I was playing doctor before I even knew what a church was. I had my priorities straight.
