It is airline specific. You'll have to call the airline you are flying with or check their website or here...

As others have said, some airlines it varies. Domestic airlines within the US allow 2 pieces at 50lb free of charge. Some airlines have reduced International limits from 70lb down to 50lb. Ive seen other International airlines weight limits even less than what the US allows. Go to the airlines website that you booked through and read their baggage policy. 50lb is the average amongst all airlines US domestic and international.

Southwest Airlines is 50 pounds.
We flew to Missouri from California in March and one of the guys in our party was charged an extra $25.00 due to his suitcase weighing more than 50.

Lagage? Never heard of that. Luggage-contact the airline you will be traveling on. I believe it's fifty pounds per bag, limit two bags. Over that you have to pay extra and it isn't cheap.

If it's drugs, as much as you can stuff into the bags.

I beleive it depends on the airline. I was able to have 70lbs and my aunt with another airline could only have 45lbs. Check with the airline.
