when you get to high school you get taught about the evolution of man and it kind of leaves you wondering and questioning your religion?

It's ok to question your religion. I would think that God wants you to think after all. Evolution says man evolved from a common ancestor with apes (no, we didn't evolve from monkeys; read the theory before you rebuke it, geez!). Genesis says that God basically plucked Adam and Eve out of thin air. you have to keep in mind, people back in the day would not have understood such processes most likely. it's ok. evolution and religion can coexist. it worked for me.

Evolution is a theory, not fact.
Science to our knowlege is only fact to a certain point.
Evolution theory is not science, and not a proven fact.
I question why high school taught it as though it is fact,
might as well teach Santa Clause is true in my opinion.

Adam and Eve is base on Biblical History, weight very much on Faith. Faith means to believe in something that is true.
People may say the Bible did not say anything about dinosaurs, so assume Adam and Eve can not be true, but to this day, we do not know how long did Adam stay in the Garden of Eden, before he was exile to the rest of the world, and also how old are those matter that was use to create Earth, millions of years? We do not know, but its certainly older than biblical History of 6-7000 years. My point is earth's age does not contradict biblical history.

Personally, I believe man has a purpose to be on earth, and Biblical teachings show me that purpose, which is much much more than the purpose of Man evolved from monkey.

To me, if to accept evolution thoery, you must answer the question of "Man's purpose", without that logical purpose to exist, man might as well not being born, because a purposeless creation is a useless creation, if it's useless then it need not to exist at all.

Religion is manmade. The Bible starts explaining from the creation of Adam & Eve yet says nothing about evolution, however, we have fossils that prove dinosaurs and cro-magnum man and it's ancestors existed at one point... not sure which to believe either... I would like to learn the truth. I believe in God, but why no mentioning of prehistoric man in the Bible? Sorry I could't give you a better answer...

I do know that the first human sprung from Africa which many people do not believe that the first human was black- this is the explanation of how people look so different. As the first humans grew in numbers and travelled the earth, the people conformed to their environment and climate. That is how we have white people- europeans.. the african sun is not directly hitting europe, and therefore light skin, etc... another example are Eskimos... they have chinky eyes and tough like leather skin to keep out the cold wind.. you get my drift.

The difference is the difference between Truth and Lies.
Adam and Eve are the beginning of the Human Race.
Evolution is a theory, that is mathematically impossible, and
totally ridiculous. Unfortunately some people have been educated into imbecility and will believe any old ridiculous notion.
I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!

I believe you're taking about the difference between Creationism and Evolution. Creationism asserts that 'God', a supreme being, created all living things out of nothing. Evolution proposed that man, and other beings evolved from 'lower' (meaning less complex) life forms, ie single celled organisms.

Why should the Theory of Evolution have you questioning your faith? Where within the theory does it say there is no God? Nowhere. You are over-reacting. The Bible is two separate things: a collection of mythological stories, and a body of teachings. If the teachings are valid, does it matter that the stories aren't historically true?

As Adam and Eve came from the Christian religion. Would it be right to subject someone of another religion to 'your' beliefs? I dont think it would. Plus science is based of fact, tried and tested experiments, analysis etc etc, religion is not.
Science looks at provable truths, the bible is based on personal belief, you can not mix and marry them therfore in schools they tend to go with what has or can be proved not where a persons faith lies.
