I'm 26, 5'7",I weigh 171lbs. and I need to find a really good diet that works. I want to lose about 20lbs. I have a small to med bone structure and all this weight is wearing me down. Before I had 3 children I weighed 115lbs. that was to under weight but I would like to weigh about 140lbs-150lbs. But I really don't want to lose the butt and the breast. I finally have them and don't care to lose them. And when I've lost weight before those were the first to go. Please help me any suggestions?

for women calories shoudl be around 1200-1600 average.
try to burn 370 a week

but its easy to burn that much in a day buy jumping on the tramp for 5 min, walking for 30 min, and doing some squats for 3.

go to that website, its free, easy and fun. ive been on it for five days and have lost 4 pounds .it just tells you how much you should burn a day, and what your intake should be, what you can do to burn it off, over 100 indoor activietes for cardio. its soo fun.

you just sign up for FREEE, enter your weight, enter the weight you want to by but a certain date, and it will ask you some questions and some suggestions you say you will do. and it hooks you up with a nutrion plan that you can add food it and it tells you how many calories it is (they have like every brand, even like a grande cofee carmal frap from starbucks i mean its exact stuff!) and a strength and conditioning plan that you do three times a week, and a cardio plan that you do three times a week.

its soo fun.<3

enjoy

ohh and if you dont want to lose breast, then do push ups, it will burn calories and enchace breast musscle which will keep the breasts full, and do squats for your legs to burn calories and fat, and it will tone your butt.

Here's the problem with most people's advice. Exercise and Eat Healthy? Sure, everybody knows that. You need direction and you need a personal touch. You won't be able to do it yourself, especially since you have 3 kids to care for. You need to find a local personal trainer/dietician and set up initial consultations and testing sessions. You need have your body fat checked, your aerobic fitness levels, strength, flexibility, etc. You also need to do a dietary recall with a dietician, so you can accuratley view and break down your current eating habits. Even better, get a metabolic rate test done (some gyms/universities have these) The point is you need to know where you are before you start doing any diet/fitness program. Most people don't do this, and that's why most people fail. No idea where they are to begin (besides their body weight) and therefore no idea of realistic goals and time frames. If your toilet breaks and you have no training in plumbing, you don't just try to fix it yourself do you? Same with fitness and diet, If what your doing/where you are at is not working/broken, please don't try to fix it yourself. Find a professional to help you. You can easily get back to 140-150 and look real good in probably 4 months if you work hard and lose the weight gradually. Losing the weight isn't the hard part, Keeping it off is. Take time out of your day to exercise and get in a ROUTINE! I don't want you to think you have to spend $$$$ on personal trainers, you don't. But you do need to get tested and get started on a program. Maybe after 4 months with a trainer, you'll have a great idea of what to do, and then all you need is a membership to the gym. If you live in the country and don't have a gym, then you need to find someone who will do distance programs or something of the sort. If you need further info, I'd be happy to help simply e-mail.

Yep Listen to the first lady. Work out and eat healthy. You can't lose a lot of weight being lazy. And there is no spot reduction. Lift weights if you want a nice butt. Just do chest exercises for toning of the breast. Weights will make you look nice either way after you lose the weight and to help you lose the weight.

You should try and find time to fit some exercise into your day; (20-30 minutes of light activity like walking will do). Try to do this at least 4 days per week if not 6/7. After you get into the habit of walking for a week or two visit www.mypyramid.gov for some nutritional guidance. Use this guide to figure out how much fat, carbs and protein you need daily. Another good tool to asses your current diet is to log everything you eat every day-include sugar/milk in your coffee etc. Compare what you really eat to what is recomended and look for about 500 calories to cut out on a daily basis. Those 500 calories per day will equal about 1lb of body fat lost per week!

I just lost 45 lbs on south beach diet in 5 months, phase 1 mostly with some phase 2 foods but try to keep mostly to phase 1 and exercise 35 minutes 4/5 times a week. I find it easy to follow. Omelet for breakfast, chief salad or Caesar salad with chicken for lunch with Greek, italian, or blue cheese dressing. Dinner is meat, chicken or fish, veggies and salad. I snack on nuts, sugar free popsicles/jello, diet cola and flavored sparkling water, some fruits and cheese cake when at restaurants.

Looking opposite way, I avoid bread, potatoes, chip snacks, calories from drinks(juice, soda) and eat pretty much anything else. As to where it comes off, trust me, thinner with smaller/firmer breasts and butt is better than big/loose all the way around.
Good Luck.

Here is the most helpful strategy I've found to date -- Eat every meal on a regular dinner plate. When you fill that plate fill 1/2 with vegetables (green ones, not starchy corn and potatoes) then the other 1/2 split between carbs (bread/pasta/starchy veggies etc) and lean protein -- There is no counting calories or points, just making sure that this proportion is carried through every meal -- and please don't forget to treat yourself to a little something now and then.

Weight watchers is a program that works. I lost 48 pounds and have kept it off.

You will have trouble losing just from certain areas of your body, because your body uses fat from all areas when it needs the extra energy, so you might end up losing your butt anyway, especially if you didn't have one before.

I've found that you can lose weight quite quickly if you cut out all carbohydrates and only eat protein for a while. It's not good for you to do long term, but can help kickstart your diet.
