He emphasized that the Law Moses brought down from Mt. Sinai was forever and unchanging. (Sermon on the Mount).
Guess Christians missed that point.

1. Love of God. Because God it the author and finisher of our lives.
2. Love of others. Because by loving others we are reflecting Gods eternal love in ourselves.
3. Go back to 1 and repeat. (Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.)

Love....that is the most important commandement he has. Love the Lord your God with all your soul, mind, heart and strength and your neighbor as yourself. Also, forgiveness. Forgive your enemies. And faith/trust. Faith the size of a grain of mustard seed can move mountains/trust the Lord.
