Sometimes minutes, sometimes weeks.
I’ll try to give you a better explanation:
Sometimes girls feel an almost instant “chemistry” of attraction soon after meeting a guy, but that’s not always true for couples who eventually date or even fall in love. Even if she's attracted to you, she might not want to start "dating" right away. Some girls don’t like to rush into intense relationships and prefer instead to begin with friendship, which can then evolve naturally into much more. (It depends on the girl's history and situation in life, how comfortable she is with romance and commitment, etc.) A girl like this may not admit wanting to date the guy even to herself…though she obviously enjoys his companionship. She’ll “hang out” while she slowly gathers the courage to give her heart: and in her case, any guy who wants more than friendship will need patience. However, bear in mind, she’s probably the kind who won’t be fickle and will commit thoroughly…in other words, worth the wait. Remember, too, while you’re “hanging out”, you aren’t wasting your time. If you end up as a couple, your friendship will help your romance be stronger and last longer.
So, how can you tell if a girl “friend” is attracted to you, but for whatever reason won’t show it? Pay attention to a few of these details: How much effort does she put into her appearance when she sees you? (Will she let you see her all sweaty with smeared make-up, etc? If it's often "yes", she probably doesn't consider you a potential date.) If you talk openly with her about another girl, how does she react? (Be careful here…if you like her, make only a quick comment to watch its effect…then back it off…you don’t want to make her even more afraid to act on her attraction to you!) Try something like: Do you think *insert girl’s name here* is cute? –watch her reaction, if she seems jealous, etc., she probably likes you, so cover yourself by saying “Because my friend *guy’s name here* likes her, but she’s not really my type.”
I hope that makes sense!

If you need to decide whether or not you want to go out with someone, it wont last. It happened to my friend. I called that one from the start.
Also, to the person with the Callsign: DRIFTER... I'm with you all the way! Drifting rocks! Whens the last time you drifted? I did 2 nights ago, in my mom's 2003 Marauder. Fun Fun! I cant drift in my car. It's a Civic. <:-(

I think it could be within the first meeting of the guy. The female already has a vision of whether he is worth her time or not.
