someone does have a chance to live if they are at this weight but they must change there life style. there is no way the could live for very long. The discovery health Chanel had a special called the half ton man very interesting.

Apparenlty he does. Do a search on 1/2 ton man or Patrick Duel. Amazing that he survived!

I just saw a tv special about a man in that condition. He was being taken to the hospital because his body weight was crushing his organs. He hadn't left his bedroom in years. So you can live, but not well and not forever.

I did not think people could get that big. But the health issues that weight would cause would kill someone pretty fast.

Yes, but it would be mighty uncomfortable. Plus their life span would be shortened.
