I have owned this African Grey for 10 years. There is a need to find a loving home for him, but I would like to be compansated at fair market value. The bird cane be hand held and is very entertaining, with a lorge vocabulary. I am only asking $1100 for the bird which is much less than anyone would pay at a pet store. A good home is important.

Shipping a bird is always a risk.
You might consider limiting your search to a drivable distance from the town where you live. And you didn't mention where that was. You can add details to your original posting.

Try posting on Yahoo! Groups about pets and birds in your state/area. Here in Ohio we have zillions! Messages are free to post and you can e-mail pictures to interested parties.

Try to put an ad in your local newspaper and post it at the local vet offices in town and thrift paper if your town as one. Good luck on selling your baby.

yes, craigslist, but a local paper, or on store bulletin board is better I think.. more likely to get someone nearby to come over than pay s/h, vet check, etc..
