Where should I start? Masturbation in and off itself is not a sin; the addiction is, if it is an addiction. Does it stop him form taking care of his responsibilities? Has the law been involved? I doubt it as I doubt it's an addiction. If it's not a sin, he's not going to hell for it. He needs to lighten up on that sort of thing. God doesn't ever stop listening. Maybe he needs to change his conversation. Instead of asking forgiveness, maybe he should tell God he wants to stop this and ask him to give him the strength and will to do it. I think he needs some kind of counseling, either from clergy or a therapist. He's got deeper problems than masturbation.

I too had the same kind of struggle for a long time. I prayed and prayed about it for a long time, before I was delivered completely from masturbation. The Lord showed me the key to being free from that type of sin. The first thing that He would keep telling me is to meditate on His Word. When one wants to be free from an addiction, he or she has to believe that God's Word is powerful and able to set free. For example, John 8:36 says, "whomsoever the Son sets free, is free indeed". I meditated over and over on this scripture. I started to experience freedom from masturbastion, because I believed I was set free. However, I would have victory for only a limited time. I would be free for about two weeks, a month, 3 months, and then back to two and three weeks. So, the second most important thing that God showed me was that when I repented, yes I was repenting but I was not "broken", about my sin. You can say, Lord I am sorry for the sin I commit, but in the back of your mind you know you will do it again. When you are "broken" you are so sorry and there is a great sincerity. This sincerity is what God is looking at and it will cause Him to move on your behalf. When I became sincere about being free totally, then God began to show me why I was still masturbating. He begin to tell me that t.v. shows, and lusting after woman, and going to certain places were feeding my desire to masturbate. So, I got away from all those things which were feeding my fleshly desires. God will give you directions when knows that you are sincere and ready to follow whatever he tell you to do. That is how your friend will get free from masturbation.

God will never stop listening to "him"..you just have to keep on praying for forgiveness and for Him to help you get over that sin and to guide you through His path..don't listen to those who say it's "healthy", if you are a believer of God then you should know it's a sin, a tempting sin but you CAN fight it
whenever you feel the urge of doing it, get occupied doing something else..kneel down and pray for God to help you overcome it..don't let satan get the best of you..God is by your side so you can accomplish anything you want with His help
SO DONT GIVE UP ON PRAYING..He's always listening :-)

The bible doesn't talk about mastebration. Anything that is done constantly brings addiction. God will not stop listening to him because he mastebrates. He needs to busy himself with other things so that he can get out of the habit since it makes him feel so bad. .

My friend at church and I both went on a fast for a few days both trying to rid ourselves of addictions that we feel hinder our relationships with God. I feel that God sees our hearts and He knows what we want to do for him, even when we are failing. Keep praying, ask for help, ask for forgiveness, fast for help with your addiction. Just don't give up trying.

Your friend has to believe that if he asked for forgiveness, he truly received it and was made clean. If he truly repents, he will do everything to turn away from his sin and try to please God. We all sin so he should not condemn himself because he does also. We're all in the same boat. One sin is the same as the other, except for the 7 abominations referenced in Proverbs which deal with sins of the heart. 1 Jn. 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (ALL means ALL. Believe!)

There is nothing wrong with masturbation and God will surely not punish anybody for enjoying it.
As long as 'your friend' is doing it in private and keeping things clean, then there is nothing wrong with it.
Stories of broken penises and such are very far-stretched.
Hopefully, if and when your friend is old enough, and ready for it, he will find a partner who enjoys this activity just as much. Sharing in this activity with a loving parnter is a great way to grow close.
Take care

The only way to be freed from any sin is to be walking in the spirit! We are told to arm ourselves every day because we are not just fighting flesh and blood we are fighting in a huge spiritual battle for our souls! I would encourage him to read Gods word every day so he can put on the whole armor of God!
" Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil"
" for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:11-12 Continue on for more too!

and you are right, everyone telling you that its right are wrong, it will overtake your mind and youll always be some kind of pervert. Hes also lost his virginty, how sad
no, it gives you an uncleean mind and overtakes it, it may do nothing to your physical body but mental and spiritual
just try to get your (hypothetical) friend to stop
restrict him from al sources of things that turn him 'on' and occupie him with something else
go somewhere where he always feels convicted like church

Masturbation is not a sin. Sounds like your friend is suffering from shame.... Most people masturbate, however, not alot of them will admit it. Friend needs to get comfortable with his sexuality.
