for such a great haircut, id give $ 8-10.00. the people that are complaining have sure never worked in the service industry. i watch my son and his friends that depend on tips to make a decent living and they sure work hard. here in florida...waitresses make only $2.88 /hr....the poor young people need the tips to survive. ive never seen a rich person cutting hair !!
Give the young workers of today a break, if you can afford to get a good haircut, i know you can afford a decent tip.

I used to be a hairdresser, so I recommend just giving the stylist $35. That's a great tip , especially for a great haircut.I hope you don't think I meant $28 for the cut and $35 for the tip! Just an extra $7.

You don't 'have' to, but it is pretty much expected if you liked the service you had done. As I stylist, I can tell you, we really count on our tips, they are part of our income. The average tip for $28 would be about $4-$5. Of course there are exceptions, such as not liking your hair, or not getting along with your stylist.

A good tip is 10% of the price so for a $28.00 haircut I would give $3.00 instead of the $2.80. But if the stylist did not cut my hair the way I asked no tip is required.

By the price I would automatically assume that the tip has been included, so nothing. Tell them, try not to be the first one to cross the intersection when the light first turns green , in case someone runs the light they wont get hit. That's a good tip alot of people dont think about!

A really good one $10 but if its one that I'm not sure about I tip $5 for good manners, if I didn't tip I would probably run back at the last minute to anyway.

I'd give $5 for an okay haircut, $10 for a great one.

A fool and his money shall soon be parted....28 buck for a hair cut. The Amish do it with sissors and a bowl..... for 1.25 they'll throw in lunch...I get mine cut at a small salon here in Utah and they charge 7.00...and they are so happy they almost wet their pants if they get a 2.00 tip.
28.bucks = 10 gallons of gas @ 18 mpg that equals 180 miles. Thats more milage than your goning to get out of that hair cut..
28 buck equals a nice meal at Applebees for 2 !
And they want a TIP too.....Give them a tip , Tell them to lower their prices..
