Tell him you want to meet the brother and his girlfriend first, maybe at a dinner. Or better make some plans that would have you and your boyfriend around them most of the day on a Saturday. That way you can get to know them better and hopefully tell if you would feel comfortable with them out of town. But just going away with people you don't know, sounds like trouble.

I would go. No problem. I'd get to know the brother and his girl real quick. Besides this is about his brother getting to know you, not you getting to know the brother. He wants to introduce you to part of his family, the part he hangs with. Feel good about it. Go and have fun.
