I don't think there is any pleasing an Atheist!

It's their right to believe (or in their case) not believe. AND what they have to say is only their opinion.

I don't know why everybody caves in for what they want, say, or do.

My husbands cousin is an Atheist (or so he says). Not sure how we got on the subject one day about it but the more we talked, the louder and more self righteous he became.

I was simply asking him questions because I was curious as to how anybody couldn't believe in God.

My voice was soft and I was just talking. I even said to him..."even when you look around at trees and flowers you can really say you don't believe in God?"

My husband was worried we would really get into a heated argument about it (I could tell by the looks I was getting) me being Catholic and all PLUS the fact that I like to get into a good debate.

He and his new wife just had a baby, I'm sure he was in the delivery room. I can't wait to see him and ask if he STILL doesn't believe in GOD !!

Atheists are typically highly educated people which leads them to be an Atheists as they are knowledgeable enough to realize and understand that religion is a fictional belief. Look at who are the most devoted religious people in the world - poor and uneducated. Yes, that is right, they do not know any better so the jump on the wagon and believe whatever people tell them.

I don't think it's necessary to accuse either side of being unintelligent or lacking in academic credentials.

Many of the world's brightest and best minds have been members of some Church or religion.

It is also true that many aetheists are highly educated, articulate, and fundamentally good people.

Your analogy is interesting, but the existence of the government can be proved empirically.

Why go around athiest-bashing, everyone will be judged by their creator accordingly when the end comes. You shouldn't waste time and energy on being mad at them or anyone who's beliefs don't make sense to you.

Actually, they are people who really do believe in a God, but they are so rebellious that they want so badly to do whatever they want to to, to whom ever they want to do it to, without guilt, remorse, or accountability, they have to try to destroy the image of God. Face if, it you don't believe, you don't go around working your life to fight a belief. Especially a belief that teaches people to love thy neighbor .....
