Well, if it still hurts like the day you bent it back, then theres a good possibilty that its either sprained or even broken. I sprained my ankle really bad before, and everytime I tried to walk on it, it hurt like the day I sprained it. I would deffidently suggest going to the doctors office to get a x-ray. Because if it is injured, and you dont see a doctor, it'll only get worse, and soon the pain will be almost unbearable. So, take it from a person whos had an accident such as the one you have, and go to the doctors office right now! They'll kow what to do. But, if you really can't get there today, then you should rest it. I would suggest just taking off of work, or stop doing housework or something, and just rest. Put your finger on ice. You said it didn't work , but it probably will make the swelling go down(if its swollen). So, I hope this helped!

It could be broke. You should definately get it x-rayed. Either way try the RICE method Rest Ice Compression Elevation

It will not topic in the event that they consider you received it falling over. The assessments will have to be the identical (X-rays of the leg & ankle). If you're badly injurred they would surprise the way you received that injurred by way of simply falling over. (I'd havesaid I received it tripping at the stairs)

Do you have full range of motion? If you can't move it in a certain direction you should probably have it checked.
Otherwise, muscle damage can take several weeks to heal.
