The universe as we know it could not exist without gravity. Therefore, if you believe God created the universe, then God must have created gravity. Why did it take man so long to figure out? Well, there are many things we still don't understand about God (if she exists) and the universe.

Oh PLlllluuuueeezzzeeee.... NO... God didn't create gravity because there IS no God... and neither did the Devil... for the same reason... but if the Devil HAD created Gravity, he would have made it a lot more fun.
Since you're obviously religious I won't expect you to have any knowledge of physics, math or any of the sciences... can't have religious people being bothered with all those sticky facts. Nope, instead I'll tell you that, in space, the amount of gravitational pull exerted on an object depends on the size of that object and it's relative position to other objects.
In his book "The ABC's of Relativity" Bertrand Russell put it this way, as best I remember it... "Everything is relative to everything else except that it isn't because if it was then nothing could be relative to anything".
Hummm.... yeaup... on second thought... let's just say the Boogie Man made gravity... small human minds can understand that much easier.

God invented gravity. He forgot to include it in the bible, a new revision is on the way as soon as He gets a publishing deal.

If the Bible explained every natural phenomenon God created, it would be too big to read in two lifetimes.
It doesn't detail everything. It chronicles the very basics of creation until the fall, and then is concerned with getting from the fall to redemption.

Yes God did invent gravity. It was a byproduct of the creation of everything else. Don't you believe in package deals...two for one...buy one get one free.

As long as matter has been around, I assume gravity has been around as well. This is a very interesting question, I wonder what a physics expert would say.

your logic is flawed. is you believe in god, evolution shouldn't be in your vocabulary. gravity, much like god, is hard to figure out since you can't see it.

Equines splitting into horses and donkeys. Large cats spitting, due to geographical isolation, into lions and tigers (which are biologically different breeds of the same species). We see speciation (which is what you're talking about, not evolution) all the time.
