Now come on!!! When the atheist says the bible means blah blah blah.. they are making fun of the bible. If atheist don't believe in Christ then they don't' believe in the bible. So therefore, to them, the bible is a mockery of something that is not real.

in the course of the Reformation, typically for doctrinal motives, Protestants bumped off seven books from the former testomony: a million and a pair of Maccabees, Sirach, knowledge, Baruch, Tobit, and Judith, and aspects of two others, Daniel and Esther. They did so however those books were called canonical because the starting up of Church historic previous. the theory that each and each man or woman printed reality is to be contemporary in "sixty six books" is not only no longer in Scripture, that's contradicted through Scripture (a million Corinthians 11:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:6, a million Timothy 3:15, 2 Peter a million:20-21, 2 Peter 3:16). that's a theory dazzling in the former testomony, the position the authority of those who sat on the Chair of Moses (Matthew 23:2-3) existed. besides to this, for 400 years, there replaced into no defined canon of "Sacred Scripture" apart from the former testomony; there replaced into no "New testomony"; there replaced into purely custom and non-canonical books and letters. Our Lord depending a Church (Matthew 16:18-19), no longer a e book, which replaced into to be the pillar and floor of reality (a million Timothy 3:15). we can understand what this Church teaches through searching no longer purely at Sacred Scripture, yet into historic previous and through analyzing what the earliest Christians have written, what those who've sat on the Chair of Peter have spoken continuously with Scripture and custom, and what they have solemnly defined. To trust that the Bible is our purely source of Christian reality is unbiblical and illogical.

the Bible was written by 40 authors over a span of 1,600 years. Yet, it flows so smoothly. Prophecies in the old testament regarding the coming of the messiah (jesus) we fullfilled in the new testament 100s of years before Jesus came. the bible is the divine word of God. it is a very well written book. All we need is faith to believe.
