While we have been given scriptures with commandments in them to do good works, it's Heavenly Father's Plan of Salvation that allows Grace (due to JesusChrist's sacrifice) to play an important role in our lives to make up for our mistakes.
Sure God lives, and He sent His Son to show us the way and to pay the price for us.
No matter how rational the world might be about it and what people say and how they deny the existance of God, nonetheless He exists and He knows us personally. We can always draw closer to Him. He truly loves us.

That is not even relevant to what you are saying. What does time going by fast have to do with "jesus" coming to earth anytime soon?And people arent pretending. They know that jesus is no more holy then you or I. You should look up the origins of christianity if your not afraid to find the truth about your religion. Its ok. They got millions of people and they also got you. But with some knowledge about your current religion, you can come to a state of enlightment that will relieve you of this mindless state you are currently in. "AND ENLIGHTMENT FROM MANS BELIEFS IS THE MOST HONEST, PURE FORM OF SALVATION".

Well, there is no doubt about it: we definitely need faith in Christ Jesus and his ransom sacrifice. Some say that is all that is necessary. But notice what God says by means of his servant, James at James 2:18-26: there we read that faith ought to be accompanied by something else or it is useless. At verse 19, he plainly states that even the demons believe. But I don't think anyone is quite prepared to say the faith of the demons will grant them salvation. James wraps it up in verse 26 by saying faith without works is dead.

Rom 10:1 Brothers, truly my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is for it to be saved.
Rom 10:2 For I bear record to them that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
Rom 10:3 For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.
Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness for everyone who believes.
Rom 10:5 For Moses writes of the righteousness which is of the Law, "The man who does those things shall live by them."
Rom 10:6 But the righteousness of faith says this: "Do not say in your heart, Who shall ascend into Heaven?" that is, to bring Christ down;
Rom 10:7 or "Who shall descend into the deep?"; that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.
Rom 10:8 But what does it say? "The Word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart"; that is, the Word of Faith which we proclaim;
Rom 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame."
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him.
Rom 10:13 For everyone, "whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without preaching?
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!"
Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"
Rom 10:17 Then faith is of hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Rom 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes indeed, their voice went out into all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

Remember James said "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only." (James 2:24)

If you want it straight from Jesus' mouth...
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:21-27)

Hmm...Sure sounds like a lot of doing works in there to me... God's word says that our works can never be enough to "earn" a spot in heaven, but that doesn't mean He does not require works to be done.
