I mean, gravity does more for us on a daily basis than God does and we don't even have to ask it to.
Gravity changes the tides, it keeps the earth from exploding, it keeps you planted on the floor, it keeps the Earth in orbit and keeps our wonderful atmosphere from floating off into space and leaving us here to toast. Gravity allows us to have satellite TV. All of these things are provided to us by gravity, but gravity requires no worship.
You don't hear gravity inspiring people to write books about torturing us if we don't worship it.
I think we should worship gravity, in all of it's humility, agreed?

Hee Hee! Gravitology! Does that mean you get to put a really flat fish on the bumper of your car?
Oh, to all the "believers" in the discussion, I don't think the bible says "and on the 2nd day, god created gravity and physics."
Since the bible didn't say it, its not christian dogma and therefore heresy, just like Galileo. The church wanted to burn him, remember?

It's not hard to understand why a person would ask a question like this. But if you think about it, there is so much irreducible complexity involved in supporting life, for instance, the earth is JUST the right distance from the sun to support life, gravity is just right, why everything is JUST RIGHT to support life. Many people choose to believe this all happened by accident, thinking if you give things enough time, things will all fall together eventually. But does this make sense? Not at all! If you took a box and put all the parts that make a fine timepiece (notice I am already making the presumption that you have all the parts) shook them forever (or just let them sit) how many billion years would it take before you have a working timepiece that not only kept time but had the correct time? That would be FAR less complex than what it would take to START life in some evolutionary process, yet it that fact is often overlooked.
The only answer is an intelligent, purposeful Creator. That Creator created with a purpose and despite the fact that the purpose has not been realized yet (call it a bump in the road) it cannot be thwarted and soon will be realized by those who acknowledge and worship the Creator in the way he wishes it done.

God created and uses gravity. The rain falls on the just and the unjust. There are a great number of things God provides us whether we appreciate it or not.
Worshiping God does good things for us, avoiding sin is what's best for us.

I think what is unnecessary is the constant questioning of what other people want to do with their lives. If people want to worship God, respect it and move on. If they don't, respect it and move on. Thsi world lacks so much respect it's crazy. Just like i respect you for thinking gravity does more, I respect avid christians for Praising God and Jesus every 5 minutes. Who cares what people want to do with their own lives? Are they hurting ayone? No? Then leave them alone...

God controls the gravity.
God performs more miracles, changes more peoples and does so much more that no one can even begin to fathom what all he does daily.

Everything in the universe submits to God, including gravity. Just as everything submits to the Will of God, willingly or unwillingly, its upon human beings to submit to God and worship Him alone.
God says in the Qur'an: "I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me (alone)."

If God doesn't exist and the natural forces of the universe existed without being created, then yes, worshipping God is unnecessary. But if God exists and created the universe, then I wouldn't want to deny his existence.

Well I guess we should go worship ice cream cones too..They are Sweet and cool, They cool us down on that really hot day. and hey they have milk in them so they are good for you. Wait a minute "Cows" make milk maybe we should worship cows! Wait a minute "cows" eat grass..Grass keeps the cows healthly and helps them produce "milk" maybe we should worship "grass"
God is what made all of it possiable, Even though we have brains and can build rocket ships, for us to try to concieve what God really is...is impossiable.
