There is probably some scent remaining and the kitten thinks that is where it supposed to go now. I assume you wash your bedding after this happens. Pick up some Urine Gone at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target or Wal-Mart and spray your matress really well. Put some in the wash with your bedding.
Urine Gone is very good for removing the odor. (the black light that comes with it isn't very helpful so save yourself $10 and just get the refill).
Train it to use the litterbox and keep the kitten out of your bedroom when you are not there until it knows to only use the litter box.

OMG, had the same problem. We have an adult male and a female kitten. She grew out of it eventually (she's 2 1/2 now). I locked both of them out of my bedroom because I didn't know which one was doing it. Eventually had to close off different areas of the house for fear of them peeing elsewhere. Also tried other products at the same time. Feliway (sp?) works I think. You can get it online. I found that she peed most when I was away or when she was threatened by visitors. Has she been fixed? They say that sometimes that helps too. Good luck!

instead of leaving her in the room, take her out with u and put her in her litter tray, u will need to boil all the bedding as it will still have her sent (including matress, use a spray for this), only allow her in your room when u r there, try to keep her mainly on the floor... if this doesnt work, u will need to ban her from ur room for a bit, untill she learns to use her tray only

once your bed smells like cat pee, cats will usually always use it as a litter box... even if you cant smell it.. I'd recommend going to petco and getting a bunch of stuff..

first setup a litter box right next to the bed.. they make a product called cat attract which might get your cat to use this instead..

secondly get something that covers the cat smell / makes the cat not like the smell of the bed / ask petco what to use to stop cats peeing / spraying on plants.. it's the same stuff..

it's not the cats fault.

Put a photo of yourself with your eyes big and wide open on your bed... That way when your not there, you will always be looking!!!

If "potty training" is the case then try getting her familiar with the litter box by putting her in there after she eats or whenever...so she'll get used to using it.

I've never heard a cat doing this. Maybe it's because she's still so young. Be patient with her. I'd call and ask the vet if I were you.

well what you need to do is set out a litter box. Most of the time if it is the only thing that is sandy and diggable then they'll use it.
