A good dirty Vodka Martini is nice.

Also, try Cirus Vodka (many distillers make this flavor, i.e. Absolut Citron or Smirnoff Citrus Twist) with Ocean Spray Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice. A nice spin on the Screwdriver.

I also like Dr. Pepper as a mixer (Rum and DP is fantastic).

Well, it depends on the mood of course. More often than not, I prefer a White Russian if mixed properly... not so much Kahlua, extra Vodka, a splash of cream. I also go for a Canadian whiskey and coke on occassion. Bloody Mary is a good way to start the day... my preference at the Casino. Whiskey Sour with extra cherries is good for a day at the horse races!

I was diagnosed with diabetes a year ago so I have to stick to Bacardi and diet soda.

I LOVE Stoli's raspberry vodka with Sprite, splash of cranberry and a lime. I also love the 1800 margaritas at Chili's (a margarita with chambord added) I love bloody marys when I am hungover - but has to be Stoli's vodka. Pineapple and apple martinis are also yummy.

For shots I like woo-woo's (vodka, peach schnapps and a splash of cranberry) strawberry shortcakes, (vanilla mcguillicudy's and cranberry) and cookie dough (frangelico and vanill mcgullicudy's)

I love robust red wines like burgundy, california zinfandel, and cabernet sauvingon.

There is another drink that I adore, which is perfect for the hot weather. I don't know what it's called.

Serve it in a tall glass over crushed ice.
Pour one part brandy or cognac over the ice.
Top with three parts of Seven-Up.
A sprig of mint is nice.

This is a wonderful warm weather drink!
