I know many people who shake their leg while they sit. Just as a way to get rid of nervous energy. The only harm I've seen from it is that it annoys those sharing your bench (or couch).

No, it is not, it's just a habit, when I am sitting at the computer, I normally shake both my legs or just my left leg, there is nothing wrong with it. My mom when I was younger would always smack my leg and tell me to stop shaking, but since I'm married, out of the house, I can sit at my comp and shake them all I want. lol. It's just a habit, and I know I need to break mine. Been, doing it for years.

No bcoz I think this is a kind of habit as I always shake my leg when I sit down. It seems to me a kind of relaxation after a lot of works.

I would say that your sister may have a nervous condition. Or she is just a type that likes to get up and go. My Son-in-law is a leg shaker. I have told him numerous times to stop, but he starts again as soon as he is unaware. It may rise from when you have a baby on your lap and you bounce him to get the bubbles out. I don't think it is necessarily a bad sign.
