if someone has hiccups,and someone scares that person,then the hiccups go away.so the bartender just wanted to scare the guy so the hiccups can go away instead of drinking water.OH!!!i get it!!then that is when he sayd thank you for getting rid of the hiccups!

Well, you've got two options.
1) Perhaps the bartender was angry because the man was having an affair with his wife of 35 years.
2) The man had hiccups.

coz its a water gun? the bartender just squirted the water into hismouth so he wudn't have to lift the glass..the bartender is soooo sweettt....shucks... hiccups doesnt juz go coz one got surprised..to make it go away, one has to hold his breath for lyk 10 secs and it'll b gone.
