Females usually stay in heat until they get pregnant. It is to the cat's benefit to be spayed to minimize health problems and unwanted kittens. The best and most accurate of confirming pregnancy would to be to have the cat examined by a veterinarian and an xray could determine pregnancy after 3 to 4 weeks.

At about 5 weeks pregnant, your cat's nipples will enlargen and pinken. That is the gauge I usually go by. The average cat pregnancy is 9 weeks, or about 2 and a half months.

Only a vet can tell, your cat needs worming and vaccinating as well otherwise they'll be born with a worm burden and no immunity. Also find out about de-fleaing as fleas can kill kittens.
Find out now how to deal with it all, not after the kittens are born.
I'd be surprised if the vet offers an x-ray, I'd expect a sonar scan. X-rays are dangerous to the unborn.

Feel her tummy, if it is hard right below the ribs, most likely she is prego. As far as how far along had to say but they are only preg for about 2 months i think... Good luck with the kitties!
And dont worry she will take care of everything!

They usually get pretty fat and they sleep a lot- You may see them wandering around looking for a place to give birth
