This happens to everyone at some point in their life. Don't blame it on all guys, just do your best to move on, and use this as a learning experience. Find someone you can trust, and learn to love again.

People, are they not an interesting sort of animal? I think the best explanation to be given is this:
1) You fell in love probably with the wrong person to begin with.
2) You can't change people. They have to change themselves.
3) They probably had the defect in personality that let to this "stabbing of the heart" to begin with. Many people choose to look past the signals or signs that indicate bad behavior.
4) Sometimes, we just get conned. Life is much like gambling.
There's a chance for us to win and a chance for us to lose.
If this has happened to you recently, I think the best thing you can do is understand that the pain you feel is temporary, and you aren't to blame if he decided to cheat on or lie to you. Move forward. There are lots of good people out there.
And I disagree, all men are not dogs.

I suggest that you turn around and ask him if "Sorry, did my back hurt your knife?"
This would leave him speechless for some time. Guaranteed.
In the meanwhile, analyse why he did what he did. If you feel that you desearved it ( sorry, but have to take a neutral side ), then try changing it and then when you are sure you would never do it, go and start dating him or the other fishes in the sea.

I agree with natex. You have to just move on. If he truly loved you he probably wouldn't have broke your heart. My first husband cheated on me and i never thought i could ever trust another man....ever! Or love another like i loved him, the weird thing is when i met the man i am with now(my 2nd husband), what i thought love was really wasn't even love. When you meet the right one you will know without any doubt. So move on Girl there are BIGGER and BETTER fish in the sea!! PROMISE!!!!!

Because it would seem (based on the number of similar questions asked/answered in the forum by both men and women) that the human race is bent on hurting one another, regardless of the cost.
Men are ******* to women all the time, and women can be queen-b!tches rather often. It doesn't excuse their behavior, but it does outline it nicely.
If you're miserable, move on. There ARE nice people out there.

Thats what usually happens when you give your heart away to someone.You cant trust anyone these days.Its so hard finding the right guy.Their all sweet at first...but its just to get in your pants.Guys dont care about the things we do.Try not to get attached to guys too quickly.You dont deserve a guy that does that to you...no girl does.

Most of them have let themselves become sociopaths or fags. Neither of these two types are truly attracted to females and so they play games until they are bored and then, Wham! Surprised?

Because guys are jerks and don't care about our feelings...unlinke them we are sensitive and are capable of feeling more things that them. Don't let a man into your heart unless he proves to you someway that he will always love you and won't ever break your heart. They take us girls as fools...they think they can just have fun with us and then leave us...if a guy ever breaks your heart break his back, get revenge don't let him get away with it....

because sometimes when men feel like everything is going good, they find something to ruin it with.girl if ur man stabbed u in the back he wasnt good for u anyway. u have to move on with your life and leave him alone.

becuz some guys r stupid. they think they're interested in u and then they dump u for someone else but dont worry not all guys r like that i'm sure there's a guy waiting for u that will stick by ur side and love u no matter wat happens it might just take a few boxes of tissues before u finally meet him lol
