I know a female who always wears short skirts. She has the most unattractive legs, however, and I no longer want to be subjected to her legs. What should I do? Is there a best way to handle this situation..as it is causing me distress.

I'm so confused. You "know" a female who has ugly legs. She's not you friend---just an acquaintance?
I have a question for you: What if you worked around a person who had only one leg? Would that also cause you distress?
What if you worked around a person who was blind or deaf? Would that cause you distress?
I'm sorry not everyone in the world is beautiful enough to ease your day. Heaven knows, the universe absolutely must revolve around you!!!
Maybe God is putting that person in your path so you can learn compassion, understanding, and maybe help you mature a bit out of this superficial, selfish, and unkind phase you're going through.
I hope so.......because the lady's legs you think are so ugly, are not have as distressing as your attitude towards her.

where short skirts yourself and go out in public with her. all the compliments you'll receive (in part because your own legs will look so very much better - if that's possible - by comparison) will soon send her the message that hers had best be covered.

Maybe your face causes her distress. Worry about your own short comings and leave other people alone. It is people like you that have more to "repair" than the people you complain about.

hm. it's causing you distress? SHOULD it be causing you distress? they have to be a pair of pretty disturbing legs...hehe. best thing to be done...poke your eyes out. it'll hurt for a minute, but you wont' be subjected to anymore leg traumas. :)
