Chronic fatigue has many, many causes. A few possibilities:
1) Anemia (which has dozens of potential causes)
2) Hypothyroidism
3) Various vitamin and mineral deficiencies
4) Heavy metal toxicities
5) Amino acid imbalances
6) Chemical toxicities
7) Intestinal Dysbiosis (imbalances in the microflora - bacteria - living in the gut
8) Leaky gut syndrome
9) Drug reactions
10) Food and Environmental Allergies and plenty of other possibilities
A good place to start educating yourself on these many issues (especially how to fix them!) is a wonderful book by Sherry Rogers, M.D. (with a gruesome but appropriate title) called: "Detoxify Or Die". She explains many causes of chronic health problems, which often include chronic fatigue, and she teaches you what you can do to treat these many and diverse problems. The book is available at Amazon.com or from the publisher at 1-800-846-6687. I highly recommend this book and others by Dr. Rogers.
Best wishes and good luck.

Well Honey you sure sound like a wreck to me, and no I don't mean that sarcastically, it must indeed be very worrying for you when doctors can't put their finger on it, guess in a way its making you lose faith in your doctors, it would me. Did you per chance have Glandular Fever in your past, particularly as a child, that supposedly can stay with people all of their lives, well the effects of it that is. You seem to be doing everything right, getting enough sleep at night etc, but .... no disrespect do you SNORE? I know that sounds silly but supposedly people who snore badly do not get the goodness out of the many hours sleep they often have, so perhaps that is a line to go down. Also be wary of taking too many iron pills or any other pills come to that, for too much medication can also do harm to the body. Last but not least is something depressing you, say like an on going problem or situation within your life? could all be deep routed and physiological disturbance that is hindering you. And last really last but not least, worrying about it don't help either, but then who'd not worry, its a catch 22 vicious circle. I would seriously think of getting a 2nd or 3rd opinion if I were you, and perhaps though I guess your working, but if not, you could try a nap during the day, the afternoon, perhaps your one of those people that need say 7 hours sleep at night, but need to catch up on an hour or two during the day. Sorry to hear your feeling this way though, it must be dreadful for you and interferes with your daily life routines and even your leisure and free time too, so its really quite a disability to have. Try not to lose faith, keep going back to doctors and try for 2nd opinions, someone might come up with the reason and better still the cure. Good Luck Billie UK
