Was it the most wonderful thing I've ever done. YES. Was it always easy? NO. The best case scenario is to have 2 parents who want the child, are prepared to take care of the child financially, and to understand that after the child is born you have to make sacrifices. To understand that your life will never be the same and that's fine because you're willing to do whatever it takes to help grow this child into a happy, healthy, responsible person. You owe that to the child.

Children are a true gift from our Heavenly Father. Case in point is my 4 year-old daughter, Paige. She lights up a room, and is the single greatest thing I have ever done in my lifetime. I remember being scared when her mother told me she was pregnant, but I would not change a single moment for I am richly blessed for being her daddy. Not to mention her mom calls her my twin, but she is the BEST thing ever. I have 14 nieces and nephews, but being a parent is the best love in the world. The way you feel about others, including spouses is love, but with your own child its unconditional. You really feel humbled to be a parent, and there is nothing better.

I think having children is great for some people. Personally, I'm not the type that wants them, but that's just because I don't want to settle down anytime soon. If you want a child, talk to you partner, and make sure that you are ready for such a big step. It's not something that you can just change your mind about later.

Children are a wonderful blessing even if you want to choke the life out of them at times (never DO that though)

It is the most exciting, rewarding, and up and down experience that anyone could ever go through. You have someone who depends on you every waking moment, and who you help grow into a loving, respectful, and productive member of society. There would be nothing else that I would want more to do. :)

I'm not big on kids, I like my friends kids in small doses but regular kids just annoy the crap out of me
don't get me wrong I'm sure I'd love my child if I ever had one, I just don't really like kids enough in general to want to plan a pregnancy setle down and have one

I think it is GODS greatest gift! I can't imagine my life without children. I don't think you should have children unless you are in a committed relationship....and have the resources to provide for them.

It's a great experience, a little nerve-racking at times, heart-warming at times and those moments when you actually wish Calgon could take you away.
Seriously though, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
