I absolutely LOVE her. I watch Food Network every day, and like a lot of the shows, but Paula's definitely one of my very favorites. I also get her magazine, which is wonderful, so I highly recommend it...especially for all of you here who don't like her accent, you can just buy the magazine for the great recipes. ;)
The best things about her, are that a) she doesn't "talk down" to her audience, like we're all supposed to be experts or something, b) her recipes are VERY user friendly, and c) she seems to be a very genuine person who's very likeable.
Anyone who hasn't seen her show, the new ones come on Saturday mornings. Check her out! :)

Love her. She cooks from the heart with love and that's the way cooking should be. Her dishes taste great and are very easy to prepare. The accent is also great. She struggled her whole life to get where she is today but a perfect example of if you want to achieve something go for it. May take a lot of ups and downs but hard work and persistence pay off in the end.

Paula Deen is wonderful and no, she isn't fake. She's a southern woman who knows good food and how to cook it.

I admire her, I like the way family and friends are important to her. Her cooking is down to earth. I enjoy her zest for life. I like the way she achieved success through hard work and triumphed over the challenges life threw her. I like the way her sons treat her, with respect. I say to her, "May you live long and prosper Paula".

it does not gross me out however i can see how it might some people because it might not be the proper thing to do. growing up i always enjoyed getting to help my mom make desserts and i guess what made it so fun for me was always getting to taste stuff as we went along. and yes that meant i stuck my finger in whatever we were making and licked it off and sometimes i might even have stuck it back in for another taste ( : cooking should be fun !

LOVE HER! You can tell she truly enjoys cooking, eating, and spending time with her family. I love it when she giggles and takes a taste of something a crosses her eyes. I subscribed to her newsletter and get her magazine. I also plan on visiting her restaurant, her brothers restaurant, and attend her cooking school in Georgia.

Yeah, her voice can get annoying sometimes but I like what she cooks. But on one episode she was making all of these desserts then she ended by making mayonnaise. You can't make mayonnaise AFTER dessert. It's just nasty. That's my only complaint of her.
