Dude, it is just way too complicated! Do you think everything in the bible went the way it says?? Church rulers and governments use and manipulate the bible to get people to do what they want! No false idols was a way for them to condemn anyone that wasn't in their religion!!
I tell you don't think to hard on it! All religion is backed with half truths and lies!!

No Christians worship idols -- not even Catholics, who are wrongly accused of worshipping idols, mostly by other Christians who have many misconceptions about Catholicism.

Whether "pagans" actually worship physical idols or not really isn't the issue. The issue is that they don't worship God, which is (to put it mildly) a mistake.

Because pagans worship the concept of multiplicity of idol beings where has Christianity have created an idol of the prophet of the One God. You are right, they are the same.

You're confusing an idol with an icon. An idol is an object that is worshipped as though the object itself had divine power. An icon is an object that is used in worship as a symbol of the thing being worshipped. Icons help in directing and enhancing worship, but they are not worshipped.

Christians worship the creator... not the creation. Jesus was in the beginning with God and not a creation by God. Anything else is a part of creation and thusly an idol, whether a physical obect like gold or money, or other gods (creations from the mind of men).

God is not an idol. An idol is a false god or an object.
I worship the God Almighty.

Pagans do worship false idols! You know Christians do not worship false idols. If you are, kero or brianna, you will be reported for gaming for points and impersonation by using another profile. Bad! You will reap what you sow!

EVEN TODAY THE CHURCH EXCOMMUNICATES PEOPLE THAT QUESTION ITS AUTHORITY

because MOST OR ALL christians produce religious nuts not spiritual fruits.

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of other gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of your god.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from lower life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in three gods- the trinity.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" --including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that some spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (4.55 billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a couple of generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs --though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

Christians don't worship the cross. We worship the person that was on the cross. We just use it has a reminder of what Jesus did for us.

You are absolutely right. We are told in the ten commandments not to worship any thing or any one other than God. Wheither one is pagan, christian, whatever....it would be hypocritical to tell others they are wrong while at the same time doing the same thing. You made a good point.

A Christian that worships God.

The key word is "false" idol. JC is considered THE IDOL (per-say) in Christianity. Obviously any other "idol" is not "real" and is forbidden by the 10 commandments.

I hope this clears up the fog for you, right or wrong.
