You have more options than just doctor. You could be a nurse and help people. Or an EMT, they ride in an ambulance and help the hurt person as they are transported to the hospital. Or a teacher, councellor, or a social worker. There are lots of options out there to help people. Even being a waitress that has a friendly smile on her face as she does her job can help people. A pastor, mother, Big Sister. Go to the hospital and rock drug/HIV /preemie babies. There is so many opportunies out there if you just look!

Honestly (and I know this isn't your fault, but your parents'...) if you expect to get anywhere in the world (especially as a professional [i.e. doctor, lawyer, etc.]) I'd consider changing your name. Honestly, if I were flipping through my insurance company's list of providers and I came across a Dr. Shadrika So-and-so, I don't care how close that doctor was to my house, I'd intentionally skip to the next closest doctor. The name sounds completely unprofessional and sort of ghetto, honestly.
