There is a huge amount of evidence proving that the god of Abraham, and the bible, as it's written, is nonsense.
If you don't know about this evidence, or choose to ignore it, or try to fit it back into the mold of your bible, then I can't help you. You just need a reality check.
Is there proof that there is no God of any kind? No. There is also no proof that there is no Santa Claus. I don't believe in him, either. But regardless, god or not, none of us atheists would have a problem with you believing in him, as long as you didn't profess to KNOW what God wants and/or commands, and then try to push your nonsense on the rest of us by passing laws and electing officials who are equally deranged.
If you would get out of our lives, we could care less what sort of hocus pocus you practice. But since you won't get out of our lives, that's why we come after you, to try to educate you. And trust me, we don't want to, brother... And we shouldn't have to. Unfortunately, it's our burden for right now.

There is no evidence to prove that God does exist.
Why is it that some believers insist upon their system of beliefs as though it were the only choice for the rational mind?
Why is it that some believers seem absolutely determined to convert people over to their system of beliefs?
Why is it that some believers seem to be spreading propaganda?
There are these types in every religion...even atheists.

So believers are entitled to their propaganda, but non-believers aren't?
There is no evidence that god doesn't exist, but there is no evidence he exists either.
Nobody claims that science HAS the answer to everything. My opinion is that EVENTUALLY, science WILL find an answer to everything. That's quite a different thing to say.
Why do some atheists believe that their system of beliefs is the only choice? I don't know, you'd have to ask THOSE believers. But, why would some of you believers claim the same about your system of beliefs?
Why do those atheists want to convert others? Well, for the same reason many believers want to convert us. Because each one is convinced that he's right.
And if we seem to be spreading propaganda, let me tell you that that's exactly what we see here about you there. Religious beliefs are propaganda to me.
So, fair rules for both sides, okay? If you want to keep on spreading your propaganda, you cannot expect us to shut up. Or else, religions would become a sort of dictatorship. Is that what you want?

Why does anyone 'insist upon their system of beliefs as though it were the only choice,' as you phrase it? Faith relies on not knowing absolutes, and it seems absurd to pronounce any spiritual belief as 'right' or 'wrong.' If we could prove religious beliefs, they would be called facts, not beliefs.
There are plenty of people of all religious backgrounds who try to convince others that their way is the 'right' way, and condemn others for disagreeing. I don't believe I'll ever understand why we can't just respect a person's right to practice whatever s/he wants to in private.
The only advice I can offer is that the next time atheist propaganda comes your way (although I don't ever recall having seen such a thing), do what I do when christian propaganda comes toward me: politely decline and walk the other way.
(I'm not an atheist, just for the record!)

I'm not an atheist but I would assume that it is the same as why the Christians do the same thing with their beliefs.
Christians have no evidence that god exists
They refuse to listen to science and explain everything away with it was god or it is in the bible, or Satan is tricking us.
They seem determined to try to discredit others beliefs with their own beliefs, or they just tell people that have different beliefs than them that they are going to hell or to read the bible.
Non-Christians would consider them to be spreading propaganda also. It's kind of like the pot calling the kettle black.

Atheists dont believe in a religious system so what the hell are they spreading. The only propaganda I see here is coming from you.Have you ever seen god?no,nobody has not even a preist which by the way, are no more special than you or I.And science usually does have the answer for everything,it's fact not fiction. If science cannot provide an answer now it will in the future as technology gets better.

If it doesn't fit into your world view then it is propaganda?
Ok, how about this? 2000 years of christian propaganda and superstition. Suppression of other religions, suppression of scientific advances, burning and torturing of indigenous people, burning people for being 'witches', the Crusades, the Inquisition, christian support of the fascist regimes and monarchies, the endless nonsense of creationism. The hatred of homosexuals. The effort to equate Judaism with Satanism. The oppression of women and their rights. Support of racism and the slave trade. Suppression of birth control which has actually contributed to the amount of abortions and the spread of venereal disease. And let's not forget the trillions and trillions of dollars collected in the name of the god.
And I don't have a week and a half to dismantle your contradictory and absurd bible.
So if you want to know why atheists are 'determined to convert people over to this system of beliefs', the opposite is actually true. Atheists want people to wake up and start thinking for themselves and not buy into a system that brainwashes and spreads hate in the name of 'god'. There may not be proof that god Doesn't exist, but there sure as hell is no proof that one Does exist.

*sigh* Have to answer this question so many times...
It doesn't matter that there's no evidence that something DOESN'T exist. There no evidence that A LOT of things don't exist. An infinite number of things in fact. Make up any BS story in your head about some supernatural entity and GUESS WHAT?! There's no evidence that the entity you made up DOESN'T exist! Does that make it true? No. Watch: "I believe that that a giant cosmic dog vomited out the universe, and that's how we came to be". Can you prove it wrong? Keep in mind my cosmic dog is invisible, and lives at the edge of the universe. What, no evidence that my cosmic dog doesn't exist?! It must be true! That's your logic, and it is flawed beyond belief.

You know I am not atheist, and I believe that there is some higher power out there. But I also am not Christian. And it seems to me that there is no real evidence that God does exist, except for some old book. Also, if it is wrong to assume that science has the answer to everything, isn't it wrong to assume that religion has the answer to everything? You also said that some atheists insist upon there systom of beliefs. Christians are the ones who used to convert entire cultures that already had religions! It seems that you are accusing others of crimes that your religion itself had commited.

For the same reason that people with faith make atheists feel bad for not believing in a higher power. Everyone wants to feel like their beliefs are correct.
There is no real evidence either way that there is a higher power. It's a matter of what you believe. Some people think the bible is the absolute truth. Some people think it completely false. Most people fall in the middle.
It's like ghosts, UFOs, Atlantis, Big Foot, etc. There are people that are totally convinced they exists while others think it's ridiculous.
It all boils down to faith. What you have faith in you want other to have faith in as well.

You do realize that your argument can be applies to both sides. I am a non christian, but still follow in a religion. One that doesn't observe a traditional God. I am regularity, being told that I am going to hell if I don't accept Jesus. or the bible is the only truth. I don't view it as propaganda, being that these are a person's personal beliefs. This is NOT a malicious agenda. The same is true of the atheist, the are entitled to their beliefs just as much as you. They are entitled to their opinion, just as much as you. And thank goodness we live in a place where these beliefs and opinions can be expressed.
