What a coincidence....I'm a hairstylist and i have to deal with this stuff everyday. Good mousses are made by: Paul Mitchell, Biolage, Biosilk, and even Aussie. All of their hairsprays are good too. I would also recommend Sebatian hairspray. These products have a certain shine to them. They hold very well depending on how you use them. Remember to use mouse on wet hair, and use hairspray on dry. Also spraying too much hairspray and spraying it too close causes the dandruff look. Hope it helped. Wish you luck

My absolute fav.'s are Physique, John Frieda curl and style, and for a cheaper brand, Garnier Fructis. Non related comment- Garnier Fructis is the best shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. I love it. I bought all the Dove hair line recently, mostly just to support their new campaign (something I've been saying for yrs someone should do) Anyways, the Shampoo and conditioner I hated at first; made my hair feel really heavy, and dirty, but I tried it a few more times, because I didn't want to go buy new stuff til I could justify it; anyways, it's finally working better now; cpl tips I learned; you only use about 1/4 the amount of the shampoo as other brands. When you put it on, add a little more water to lather well. Also, when you condition, never leave on more that 2 min. Ever. I love the mouse; it works really well, as does the pump hairspray. (hairspray smells awesome, too!)

Kenra volume spray is the best I have ever found it will hold your hair even in a stiff wind, if one hair goes they all go. My daughter and I affectionately call it cement in a can. It can only be found in hair salons, get on the Internet to find it in your area.

I have natural curly hair and it is prone to be frizzy and untamable..i have tried everything...and when I say everything there isn't a product out there I haven't tried...the best thing I have found is Suave (and it won't get you out of pocket) and Aussie products and they make your hair feel light not heavy like it is stuck to your head.
