you can clicker train a cat to do anything a dog can do...and the clicker is only about a buck at Petsmart or other pet store....there is a Yahoo group about Clicker training that EXCELLENT...they have training guides, you can see some success stories....it is very cool..i taught of my boy kitties to give high fives.....

yes it is possible to teach a cat to shake hands, You have to do it when they are a kitten. I had a cat in Japan that I taught to roll over, play dead, and shake hands, you have to keep it up every day though. Good luck. :)

You can try but Cats' personality is set by 6 months so if you want to train them try before 6 months. Although I cant imagine it will work because I have tried but my cat doesn't understand.

Yes, my cat does it but you have to start them as a kitten and you MUST be consistent and persistent and patient.
