i know the question is offensive.
but i just feel insulted by christians. it is not just in this forum but also in my daily life.
but again what i mean here is 'some' christians, not all. i respect those who practice love of Jesus.
why they discriminate like all non-christians will go to hell. and that they have to pray for us if we don't believe in god / Jesus. and atheist is blind and stupid, lost souls ?!?!
everyone believe their own belief is the best but why christians seems to be very aggressive.
i think it's right a comment i've read that christians only care 'the next life'.
some also very intolerance.
and it seems like they trying to convert this religion and spiritual forum into christian forum.
find jesus, accept him, god will punish, etc.
me myself respect Jesus for his life and i think he focus on love and humanity not about christianity.
i think there's something wrong about the present christianity, just too dogmatic. they quote bibles as they want to please themselves.

and that they seem so poisoned in war. when we give our opinion that is different, they quote on bible saying that "yes, we will face many enemies trying to change or confuse our faith". you're with us or against us attitude. they seems to exclusive themselves, well actually it's okay but the problem is both directly or indirectly they tends to underestimate others, like others not exist.
also about gay, homosexual or other minor communities, i don't mean that we must prove or not but we just can't curse them, i mean they are humans too, they want to live and be happy. i also found many my friends accusing their own parents worshipping idols. he feel pity for them. could you believe that ?
and i just get upset when they pretend to be nice but indirectly attacks us. "no, we shouldn't reply to their comment, they just don't understand it yet. let us just pray for them.". see, the act to not reply to harsh comment is nice but indirectly they saying us as wrong, evil.

in summary, i think all religions, atheist, spiritualist tries to prove their own belief by saying their beliefs is the truth well it's okay but if you indirectly saying that yours is the truth AND others are wrong. that be a problem.
i know by posting this questions show my anger and somewhat doing negative acts like i describe above (intolerance to christianity) and that is not good. but i just want to know if any other peoples feel the same way like i do or it is just me who is intolerance myself, over-sensitive.

I totally agree with you. I tend to feel looked down upon by most christians in today's society.I was raised in a baptist church where I was forced to "believe" in Jesus, god, hell and all that stuff.I used to have real nightmares about hell as a child because I never truly "believed" what they were telling me.As I grew up I learned to trust my own instincts as to right and wrong. What I feel is most wrong is hate, racism, homophobia, treating woman as second rate citizens, child abuse, " in the name of god."No matter what religion you are (or aren't)karma exists and living as one with nature and humanity has to be right! As for all those prudes and puritans judging other people, they will get theirs.I don't mean to offend the few christians out there that are really doing what Jesus would do(loving everyone and always trying to help.)Those christians I do respect.

The majority of the militant christian thought (note, not all christians are militant) came from the roman era of christianity when the roman emperor noticed that as his armies converted to christianity, they became pacifistic, and a pacifistic army is not an effective army, so he originated the belief that non-christians must be converted by force and the whole idea of "warriors of god" so that he could have an effective military again.
Nowadays many non-christians have grown up under an extremely dogmatic and forced belief system, and converted away from it as they discovered more open and logical forms of belief that fit more for them and their personal beliefs. These people are easily frustrated and insulted when someone tries to convert them back, because they have been there before.
Many of those I know who were once christian have begun researching christianity's origins and are working on trying to get back to what jesus originally taught rather than what preachers interpret the other books of the bible (like paul) as saying he taught, and I admire these people a great deal.

I did not choose the path I walk, it picked me, drew me into itself and carried me away on spiritual plane that I had never known. I have tried a few of the Christian belief systems, but I was tired of being scared that my immortal soul was about to be damned to burn in hell.
When I need to communicate with my deity, I do so by going back to nature. I will find an area with woods, and the Gods talk to me through the wind, the sound of the trees moving in the breeze, the insects. I take great comfort in these times.
It's not that it is hard to understand the Christian sect, it's that they don't want to allow people to believe as they feel necessary for themselves. I choose for my own reasons not to be preached to about hell, fire and brimstone......I don't believe it and I don't want it constantly dictated to me as if I'm a stupid person incapable of making a sound decision concerning my own life.
I can't imagine being taught how to walk my own road...Its our own personal growth at our own pace and time frame. Each is different, special and precious. There is not a book or a teacher that I can learn this from completely, ever. There are a few (a very few) that hold life's knowledge, that can guide and teach those who seek it. Sometimes not even a wise old age can bring this enlightenment. Its how well you learn from the journey that gets you there. I seek to learn everyday. My journey is my teacher.

I used to ask the same thing, watch every Christian's move. I converted last year, and I have seen even in my church people who expect to do God's will but live in what the bible says the flesh. Jesus said "go out to the world and make disciples of all nations." I heard this song, that says, "the biggest cause of atheism is Christians." We are all humans, we fail to do what God has commanded of us, and some Christians can be so self righteous, the lose more then they gain. I hope that this will serve as a wake up call to the Kingdom of God.

It is part of human nature to be prideful and arrogant. Each of us tends to think that what we believe is the gospel truth. We are called to evangelize and to spread the faith. However, we are called first to love others. 1 Corinthians 13 makes it clear that if we do not love, our works are meaningless.
I find that American evangelical Christianity behaves too much like a political party. It's too focused on building up its own power and thus doesn't have the power to spread the message of Jesus. It's all too easy for non-Christians to focus on the failings of the messenger rather than the message itself. I think that we all need to reconsider our attitudes and have more respect for each other as fellow human beings, even when we are at odds on ideology.

unfortunately, it seem that religions, all of them, are being exploited to cause conflict. This has been a problem since before the crusades. We ought to understand that this is NOT what Mohamed, Jesus Christ, or Moses wanted. Terrorism is not a part of Islam, and discrimination and racism is not a part of Christianity. There are many good people who understand this. Those who do not are in serious danger of falling into, well, evil, for lack of a better term.

The actual practice of Christianity has been lost on many. I know many "Christians", however only a few are selfless compassionate people. Those who don't pass judgment and follow the word of love for all of mankind. The Christianity I was taught was about peace an love. Trying you hardest to look at all of you fellow man through the eyes of God.

Everyone seems to be trying to "understand" everything & everyone. How in the he*l can any human understand another human who has no concept of what they believe in? It all boils down to ONE WORD...ACCEPTANCE!!! If all humans could simply just ACCEPT other humans, we would not need to be asking these questions that show a complete failure of the human race to have a SPIRITUAL BOND. Religion has nothing to do with being spiritual. Spiritual beings do not need to "join" others in worship centers because they are ONE with their power source & creator. Organized religion survives only because they have "followers" who are seeking the truth, rather than knowing that they already have it! I accept this. I also accept the fact that others don't!

The option steel form's main companies integrated the nu steel bands P.O.D., Pillar and Disciple. Zao was once a pioneer of metalcore, paving approach for bands corresponding to UnderOath and Norma Jean. In 1988, the commercial steel motion started. Although a fusion style, there was once a fantastic and mainly United States established Christian motion across the form within the Nineties, and the California established institution Mortal is pointed out as one the primary Christian bands that represented the form.Mortal was once no longer precisely the primary Christian band that performed commercial however they'd a fantastic function in that they opened methods for Nineties Christian commercial and commercial steel bands.
