How do artists concentrate on their work in The Malecon 2000 in Ecuador where there are a lot of people??

I'm just a little intrested in how they do that.

It is called selective attention. They block out everything that interferes with their work. Some people can also work better with noise around them or with others watching them.

They do that in Quito, too, in places like El Ejido Park. I think it's kind of the spirit of every artist: deep passion and concentration for the work. Especially passion, it can put your mind completly out of the surrounding world.
