It is best to put your aching muscles to rest. The pain or cramps is due to anaerobic oxidation in your muscle cells producing lactic acid. Giving them your muscles sometime to rest will help them heal and build bigger muscle cells. Exercise the part which is not aching. And don't forget to hydrate well, drink lots of water and other fluids. And when I say rest, give them 24 to 36 hours to rest, and then you can go back to your routine exercises.
