I think the ComedySportz franchise is doing well - and their whole concept is to do clean family humor. I also write funny plays meant to be clean enough that even my grandmother or anyone her age can sit and listen. The humor isn't the hard part of writing the plays - it's the action scenes, which need input from other people.
I have heard your joke before but it's been a while. It scores one "ha ha."

I think it's funny. You have to be truly talented now a days to get people to laugh at "clean humour". Just look at Bill Cosby and Will Smith!

Funny to me is something I think is funny, not something everybody laughs at.
You ever laugh at something in retrospect that you didn't put much thought into at the time? Its those suttle little humours that are not so blatant and obvious that please me.
