from my past life’s experience of world I have sense/knowledge/feeling that if people pray/worship to a saint possibility of getting benefit is far more than pray/worship to god proof 1) there is more follower in catholic Christianity which is giving more importance to saints compared to protestant Christianity(people use to go where more benefit is there) 2)I just found that in Islam praying to anyone else other than Allah is very big sin (some are saying biggest)despite this being a big sin big number of Muslim doing this by praying at dargah (an Islamic shrine built over the grave of a revered religious figure)to Sufi saints (belief is some people use to get what they are asking for in prayer at dargah)so what is your opinion pray to saints or god?

People mostly pray when asking for something. Praying to a saint is meaningless. Asking God for anything but protection is disrespectful. God is not our servant. We are His. People pray for the wrong reasons.

You only pray to God, not to men or idols or statues of mary or the saints. the 10 commandments make that very clear. Many catholics pray to mary as the co-intersersor for our sins. this is totally agaisn't what the Bible teaches.

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."- 1 Timothy 2:5 the Bible

That means that Jesus is the only person between men and God. Not Mary or the saints. period. The Bible doesn't teach anyone to worship, give reverance, or bow down to Mary or the saints.

So all Chistians should follow the Bible not church doctrine which is man made. God's word is final not the popes or the preachers or the pastors or the priest, or church doctrine.

How can you be a true Christian but base your faith in the church and in the pope insted of the Holy word of God.

God created the Universe. God can do anything. He has control over absolutely everything. why? because he made it. One big thing i see that Protestant Christianity has over Catholocism is that we pray straight to God where as Catholocism is like praying through saints to get to God. Why would you pray to saints when you can pray straight to the one who created it all and has power over everything. God is omnipotent, all-powerful. He is omniscienct, he knows all, and He is omnipresent, meaning he can be everywhere and all times so he is always there for everyone and can never have too much on his plate. He can handle everyone's prayers. So again, why pray to a "saint" when you can pray straight to the God of the Universe?

The Bible says to pray to God only. praying to saints is idolatry. When you pray to a saint you are praying to a dead person that cannot help you. You cannot contact the souls of dead people, be they in heaven or in hell. If you pray to anyone other than God, who is Jesus Christ, then you are praying to the devil. The devil does answer some prayers, but there is always a catch--just when you begin to enjoy what he has given you he yanks it away from you and youend up more miserable than in your first state. Jesus loves you and died for you, so why pray to anyone else?

To God!!! Even the Bible says that you can't workship idols or images. Saints are people who did good things and Catholic church give that title. Wanna know something funny? The most famous story told about St. Nicholas has to do with three young sisters who were very poor. Their parents were so poor that they did not have enough money for the daughters to get married.
Even Santa Claus is a saint and you don't pray to him do you?

Praying to a saint is just like asking your friend to pray for you. The difference is that the saint is already in heaven and better able to intercede on your behalf.

I already know. Most of us do. You probably do to. What's a saint? Honestly. If your beliefs really satisfied all your questions, then you wouldn't ask the question.

We all have a strong pull toward self deception.

I think I'm perfect. Handsome. Smart as a whip. And of sterling character!

I also know when to quit kidding myself.

But, laughter is good. It does you good like a medicine. No, not that stuff on street corners it seems got past the EPA, the USDA and all those acronym diarrhettics.

I pray to God and the saints. I view the saints, as God's helpers. Saints are symbols of holiness and I don't think there is anything sinful about them. I ask the saints to pray for me and help to connect with God.

Pray to God: 1) there is no need to pray to Saints
2) Only God handles prayers; not saints.

Read the first 2 commandments. Catolics brouked them from start
They have got plenty of saint, idols and so on. So every one is praying to what ever pleases them and then they reconect the points to say there is only 1 god. Funny.

God is the only one we should pray to.

But there's nothing wrong with asking the saints in heaven to pray for you. That's not the same thing as praying to them -- you're asking them to pray for you, which is different.

We often ask others to pray for us here on earth -- so if people here on earth can pray for us, there's no reason why the saints in heaven (who are closer to God than anybody) can't do it.
