how long is your hair? I do my own, it is waist length, so I have a few ideas you could try, but I need to know how long your hair is first, so I know what to suggest. Okay: The style Diane suggested is beautiful, but a little harder to do for waist length hair. (in my experience, anyways.) I'm sure you must have a good hair clip, right? (the kind with claws, you squeeze at the top and it opens up) Pull your hair back into a pony tail. (but don't put it in an elastic) then start twisting where the ponytail would be held in place, twisting upwards til you've tristed to about the top of your head. Now, keeping it twisted tightly, secure with the claws hair clip. This should leave the rest of your hair at the top of the clip. Curl the remaining pieces (that are in the top of the clip). Once you have all that curled, a good way to keep it in place so it doesn't look straggly, is to pin each curl, about 3/4 of the way down, loosley to your head. You can use pins, or I like to use pretty little barrettes. this will help it to keep volume as well, because with longer hair in updos such as this, the weight of the hair tends to cause it to droop. Before you curls each section, us a mouse on it, first; this will help it to retain the curls. Also, when you are finished, use hairspray over entire do. If you want, you can have some wispy curls around your face, or if you have bangs, or even if you have it all back. All of those are pretty, just experiment to see what works best with your face structure; which compliments you more. Good luck! If you need more help, WB.

you could do a french twist:
pull it back like you would a ponytail and twist up until it is tight against your head then secure it with some fancy pins or combs. the part left out at the top can be curled or just left how it is.it is really cute.
