Negra Modelo. It's actually a Vienna lager, which is a style that fell out of favor in Vienna - so much so that they quit brewing it altogether in Vienna. It was thought to have disappeared. Luckily, a brewer from Vienna moved to Mexico and continued to brew it. The style is now being revived due to the impact of US imports.
BTW, most Mexican lagers are actually very close to Southern German lagers, but they use corn or rice since malted barley is expensive. Again, Germans coming to South & Central America brought the beer (& yeast!) they loved to their new county and adapted to local environs. Good examples here are Dos Equis. Bad examples are Sol and Corona (sorry guys).
FYI: The lime is actually not part of the style, traditionally. It was used due to health concerns. The citric acid was used to kill any germs left on the bottle. Germs don't live in beer (some do, but the alcohol kills most of them)(that's why they drank beer so much during the middle ages - the priests didn't understand microbes, but understood that the water made you sick but beer didn't).
So rub that lime around the lip and drink away - in non-sanitary countries. When Americans imported the beer that they loved on their vacations, they figured the lime was part of the beer (not knowing why they were served a beer with a lime).

I really like Brazilian beer. I had a 3 week business trip to Brazil back in the '90's and really enjoyed their brews. The major brands, Brahma and Skol, are much richer and more flavorful than US or Mexican lagers. As far as the more local brews go, I really liked Cerpa and Caracu (one of the best dark ales I have ever had).

Tecate is pretty good. My gf who does not like beer actually enjoys this one every now and then.

Corrona would be a good beer if they would put it in dark bottles,
Light ruins beer and turns it skunky

When I was in high school me and my friends would sneak over to Mexico and get drunk over there. We became very accustom to Dos Equis and Tecate! : ) only drink it from the bottle with lemons and salt!
