Ask your girlfriends who have boyfriends or husbands if they refuse to look at pictures of hot guys.

We don't NEED to. We like to.

Actually it all depends on the girl, and where the relationship is, at first a guy will think, "Oh this is the girl for me" but in a while they become familiar and he'll discover stuff about her. Like she doesn't brush her teeth or w/e, not enough to break up just put a diff spin on them. (Girl's do the same with men. Be honest!) So some times they may need a little extra help. Myself, I prefer naked woman and if I could I'd be surrounded by them at all times!

There are probably as many specific answers to your question as there are guys who do this. Allow me to suggest several general possibilities:
1) Looking at naked women in publications or online is a habit, formed before he met you, and it's hard to break.
2) Due to certain insecurities, usually hard to discuss with your significant other, fantasizing about unobtainable women is more sexually gratifying that a real relationship.
3) It's a "man," thing, meaning that these escapades provide conversation fodder for the boys.
4) The person has an addiction to viewing porn.
I sense that underlying your question you have a quiet, yet persistent need to do something about this. Again, here's a sweeping generality: You have to decide if this man is more beneficial, even with this "fault" and the issue is bearable for you with reasonable guidelines. For example: Look at the women privately, not when you're around and don't try to get me to do something you fantasize about before we discuss it.

Most likely it comes from some sort of inner problem they had as a child. It could possibly communication problems between the two of them. Scientifically, women and men typically aint on the same wave length wehn it comes to being horny and stuff. It might be because the guy wants to see his lady friend in the buff more but wont tell her and so nothing comes of it and he resorts to looking at nudy mags. So its most likely a mis-communication on both partners parts or its cause as men we would look at naked women 24 hours a day 7 days a week, but things like work and work ethics and rules get in the way.

Unfortunately guys are very visual when it comes to sex. I don't think that guys 'need' to look at pictures, however once they have been exposed to these pictures I would compare it to an addiction and unfortunately for society today it is easier than ever to have access to it, and everyone tries to justify that it is okay. Back just a few years ago if someone wanted to purchase pornography they had to purchase it and actually talk to a store clerk, which would no doubt deter a lot of people. I don't think that there is anything wrong w/ the human body or the beauty of it, but pornography fills people's minds with immoral thoughts, which in and of themselves don't do much, but the actions and deviations that these thoughts lead to is where the real harm is. I don't think that someone is having an affair if they are wanting to look at porn, however they are playing a dangerous game and you may want to reconsider a relationship w/ someone that is into it, or if your spouse is having problems talk to them about it. Porn won't produce anything positive in their life or yours. Men aren't bad because they have feelings for women and are attracted to them, it's part of their genetic makeup and it helps makes men, men. They just have to learn to bridle some of their passions.

Because it keeps the man from cheating. All men have an urge to have sex with every beautiful women they see, if they are married or involved, they are forbidden from doing so. So magazines are the only substitute, they present the opportunity for a man to visually fantasize about women without cheating on his lady.

Women are beautiful especially undressed. Don't read too much into it. Men's sexual response is based on the visual form of a woman. So, go around the house half dressed and prove me wrong.

dont' worry about it like you said they are just pictures they are weird fantasy's that men like to have. It's kinda like going to McDonalds and holding up the line you know you gonna have the big mac but you still look at the rest of the menu anyways. i'm not justifying it it's just that men are men no matter what. all perverts. but don't fret about it they come home to you everynight right?
