Who is God and does he really exist? Did biblical characters really exist or is it just a story like King Arthur?

Yes, there is one God, The Creator of all, The biblical characters really existed, but in many situations , the stories have been tampered with or doctored to satisfy some people's mischievous claims.
The world didn't come about on its own or by evolution, Its too wonderful and a lot of thought definitely went into each design, It surely couldn't possibly have come by accident.
Read the Holy Quran, It is the last testament to mankind, and it has corrected all the confusing notions that were interopolated into the bible.

Look in the mirror. No I'm not saying you are God but I am saying that you are prove to your own question. You are unique, special, and more important loved. If their was no God then why are we all unique, why does nature continue? God is real and he loves you so much that he gave his one and only Son Jesus to die on a cross for you. If the Bible is just another story book like Arthur then we are in real trouble. Also did know that the Old Testament is covered with real History stories, Jesus was a real man (There is more evidence to prove the exiistance of Jesus than their is Julias Ceasar?)
Here's a challenge for you pray that God would communicate to you in some way. Pray that he proves who he is. What harm is it going to do? If he doesn't then ok people from the last few thousand years they are wrong. But If he does then you will know the real God. But if he does contact you what are you going to do about it ? I suggest that you contact a church, go on an Alpha cause. Hope this helps

Yes God does exist, records of Biblical characters exist in more than just the Bible.

No of course there is no god!!!
Some biblical characters were taken from history so did exist but the bible is just a book of stories written and amended over many years by many people.

How could the world be created , maintained and annihilated by itself?
God is manifest in 3 types:
Brahman: Formless Supreme Spirit
Paramatman: Localised inside the heart of everyone, even animal's heart.
and Bhagawan Vishnu or Svayam Bhagavam Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of God.
Most religion knows and preach about the first nature of God, as a formless , Omnipotent, omniscient spirit, but if you read the srimad Bhagavad Gita As It Is, that has spoke by Lord Krishna Himself, you will be delighted to get so much information about Him.

What do you mean by God? Is there a creation? If there is a creation, there absolutely has to be a creator, a God. If that which exists has not been created, then it is a meaningless cosmic accident, coming from no purpose or meaning, here for no purpose or meaning and going to no purpose or meaning. Ultimate meaning and purpose is defined by the creator of all. If there is no creator, the most powerful people with the means to use that poswer get to set all the rules for everyone else. They define meaning and value.

Absolutely. The Bible is God's real and living word. The character's were actual people. All of it was a testament of God and his son Jesus. The proof of His existence is in the eye of the believer.. It is 100% about FAITH.
