The guy you like knows you like him but you had to give up dancing with him to go to your great grandmothers funeral two states away. Now he won't even talk to me no matter how much I IM him or try to call. He seems to won't to have nothing to do with me. I just don't want to loose my best friend as well as the guy I like (they are the same person)! What do I do?

That seems pretty low not to return your calls or IMs, if he doens't understand that you had to attend a funeral, then maybe he isn't such a great friend. I'm sure if you stopped calling or IMing that'll send a bigger message to him. He's just playing games, so you have to play the game too.

If he cant understand that the reason you didn't go dancing with him was because of a funeral, then he isn't worth it! just think how it would be if you were dating and he wanted to go to a movie or something and you had to study for a test of something. Sound like he is still immature and needs to grow up! And if he was your best friend then he would understand about going to a funeral. Mabey he's not the "best" best friend.

you don't want to loose a guy who is dogging you after going to your Granny's funeral.... wow .... you sound as shallow as him. stop and think about your priorities.... lesson learned about this guy, a true friend would be trying to console you at this time, a good friend would have been drawn even closer to you at this time.... do what you want

sounds like like a wimp. There has to be more to the story. No real man is going to throw a temper tandrum over you doing what is right. If he is going to get mad cause you went to say by to a family member, I can't fathom what he will do when you are on your period.
