You need to call them @ 1-800-827-1000, but I have to say sometimes they give you the run around. Just keep calling!

I am a disabled vet so I have some experience in this field.
Do not call the VA. That is like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer, it only feels better after you stop. I tried to go one-on-one with the VA. Two years later I was nowhere. I saw a "Department Service Officer" for Disabled American Veterans. He did a super job. I may have just gotten lucky and snagged a good one but I don't think so.
Another source is The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). They probably won't be able to help you directly but they should have someone who can point you in the right direction.
