Putting up flyers may be a better option. Put flyers near elementary schools and parks. Kids notice things like that more than adults do. Put a bird feeder up in your yard, it might come back to eat, but usually lost birds are gone for good. Sorry.

This is a bit difficult to answer. You should check the area near your home first, of course. Try putting out cages, toys etc. that the bird recognises in case he flies past. I'm sorry to be pessimistic but there's not a lot of chance you will get him back.

if the bird just recently got out, put his bird cage outside with the door open. also look in the nearest tree/bush.when the bird gets hungry or scared, it will go 2 where it feels safest, the cage. i ve done this with parakeets and it does work. birds r very smart. leave cage out at least a week. good luck.

You might check all around your house..and post signs about your missing bird(people may spot him/her around town) I suggest not panicing Its asurefire Idea to check his favorite spots(If you take him/her out of his/her cage where does he/her go?) Does any of your friends have a bird? Do you think maybe he went to go hang out with other birds he knows?
