I know most of the contractors I've worked with have used porters paints, so I'm assuming they are good quality as the work carries a warranty period. Lived in El Paso a few years so I know about the extreme heat and the fact that it also can get pretty chilly during the winter. Personally, I have never come across a paint that is going to look good and really last much longer than a couple of years because of weather conditions. Most will start to crack and/or peel by this time. The sun is going to fade any color or brand of paint over time, but your color choices can affect your home's appearance between applications. Most will weather and fade well. Reds generally don't however and will fade into some pretty nasty pink hued colors. Good luck in your search!

id say the best thing to do is first pick a color and then talk to an expert, or several at your local hardware or do it yourself store like lowes, home depot or maynards, the color you pick will determine the best and most economical paint for the project. some colors will fade faster than others, any dark colors or reds will fade the fastest, i suggest staying away from them. also if it is affordable to you i would suggest siding that may make it so u dont have to re-paint every few years.

I have worked with some of the top companies in construction and I would suggest that you try either Porter Paint or Sherwin Williams ,they have some of the best coverage and fade resistance paint around .. Good Luck ....

Well I live in Mn. it gets above 100 degrees and 40 below, so we have humid and dry weather too.
I use Hirshfields 100% acrylic Weathercryl. Very durable and long lasting.
Whatever you do don't go oil. It will lose it's color or sheen over a short period and make it look chalky when it does.

yeah Glidden sucks...........lowes has some top end paints that retard fading. a darker color will help also. ask other homeowners in ur area too. remember all paint will fade the trick is that it fades in unity!

positive its effective merely keep your domicile windows close if achievable. If its the common latex outdoors paint that's secure in any case. perhaps you may favor to go away the domicile even as that's being painted yet even as that's drying that's completely secure.
