I guess it depends on your definition of "normal." Just don't be pushed into doing anything you aren't comfortable with or ready for.

Well how old old are you first but you can let him rush you if your not ready so let him know that you would like to take it slower.

if i was ready and willing to i would but if i wasn't ready for it as yet i would let him know we should wait until i feel comfortable

I would tell him no and if he got angry about it I would leave him because that is a sign he really doesn't care about you.
