Yea, recipes that are low in fatty items such as butter are better than ones that require more. Recipes that want you to grill, boil or broil food is better than frying food.
Just avoid things that make you fat, this isn't that difficult.

Here's the biggest recipes to follow:
1. Eat what is considered a serving instead of shoveling a bunch of food on the plate and eating it all.
2. Eat a smaller portion of food, then wait about 10-15 minutes before going back for seconds. Usually in that time your brain will receive the signal from the stomach that it has enough food and then you don't over eat and consume more calories than you need.

There are a couple of places you can get some good recipies. The South Beach Diet book has some great suggestions that I use. They also have a website though that is more expensive to join than buying or borrowing the book. In general, you want to look for recipies that contain good carbohydrates like whole grains, protien like fish and chicken and low fat (skim milk, reduced fat cheese). Also cut out the sugar and sodas.

Another great thing to do is exercise--you will increase muscle and burn fat.
Good luck

Easiest thing to do is grill food so there is no added fat in a grill pan or on a bar-b-q. Also only eat whole grains- no white bread, white rice or regular pasta. Check out the weight watchers webstie and chat rooms for recipe ideas.

Go to Allrecipes.com - they have everything. Each recipe is rated and has reviews written by people who have tried the recipe. There are different sections, and one is recipes for weight loss (though that might not be the exact way it is phrased, but you'll know it when you see it).

Good luck!

The best way to lose weight is to eat fish, chicken and salads. One of my favorite fish dishes is salmon, with a pesto sauce and tomato broiled in the oven. I have other quick and easy recipes to lose weight.

I don't know about specific recipes, but you should check out the website www.allrecipes.com. I have found a lot of yummy foods on there, and if the serving is too big, you can change it, and it will change the recipe.
